Who am I:
My name is Izaac van Kralingen, born in Gouda. I am an experienced international project leader, speaker, coach, and founder of the NPS Academy. Until 2003, I held various management positions at Siemens AG, and until 2024, I served as Corporate NPS Officer at BSH Home Appliances, where I led the implementation of NPS across more than 55 countries. Ultimately, I decided to step down from my role to fully focus on sharing my knowledge, experience, and passion for NPS. My mission is to harness the power of enthusiasm to drive positive change, within individuals, organizations, and society as a whole.

My Enthusiasm:
I firmly believe that a focus on enthusiasm profoundly impacts how we interact with one another and shape organizations. When enthusiasm takes center stage, work becomes not only more enjoyable and fulfilling but also more valuable to the community. Companies that embrace enthusiasm through NPS become more successful, customer-focused, and socially responsible. Distrust toward businesses fades away simply because there is no reason for it anymore. I am convinced that by making enthusiasm our guiding principle, we can make the world a better place.

The Result of NPS Enthusiasm:
As enthusiasm spreads, more people will join the movement. Globally, people are increasingly recognizing the power of enthusiasm and how it drives positive change. Organizations are shifting from a problem-focused approach to a way of working driven by the enthusiasm of their customers and employees.


The expression "Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm" by philosopher Ralph Waldo Emerson deeply resonates with me, especially in my work with NPS and customer loyalty. From personal experience, I know that enthusiasm is the foundation of every meaningful achievement. It gives our work purpose, energizes teams, and fosters genuine connections with customers. Emerson's words serve as a daily reminder that without true passion for what we do, we risk getting stuck in routines instead of moving forward with purpose. In my NPS journey, this enthusiasm is what I strive to bring to every project, believing that together, with a shared sense of purpose, we can achieve extraordinary results.

I see the olive branch as a beautiful symbol of peace, reconciliation, and hope. To me, a strong Net Promoter Score (NPS) holds a similar meaning: it represents satisfaction, trust, and positive growth in customer relationships.

Just as offering an olive branch is a gesture of reconciliation, I view a good NPS result as an opportunity to restore and strengthen relationships with customers. And just like an olive tree needs time and care to grow and thrive, I believe that improving NPS requires consistency and patience. Only in this way can you build lasting customer loyalty that truly drives the growth of your business.
